The Rebecca L. Constantine RN Scholarship Assistance Fund

Rebecca Constantine chose to follow a career in Nursing in the footsteps of her maternal grandmother, Hazel Harrington and her maternal aunt Rosemary Benedict, both RN’s.
After graduation form OCC School of Nursing she began her career at Community Memorial Hospital, Toms River, NJ and through a number of nursing facilities to become the Director of Nurse Education at Concord Healthcare, Lakewood, NJ. In 2018 Rebecca was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer at age 42. Rebecca maintained her full-time nursing schedule through the demands of her treatment for colon cancer, the Covid pandemic, through to August 29, 2022. Rebecca passed on September 3, 2022. Rebecca’s’ family is proud of Rebecca’s career development, her dedication to her profession and the personal attention she proved to her patients. “That which is loved is never lost”
