Next Gen Engineering & Technology – Building a Better World Scholarship

The Next Gen Engineering & Technology – Building a Better World Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled and/or graduating from Ocean County College in the AS. Engineering or AAS. Technical Studies with Industrial/Technical Option programs that demonstrate a commitment to Building a Better and More Sustainable World Through Engineering & Technology. The proceeds from the Annual OCC Engineering Technical Conference hosted by the OCC Engineering & Industrial/Technical Studies Program, OCC Foundation, Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ) and Ocean County Society of Professional Engineers (OCSPE) along with industry partner sponsorship fund this annual scholarship.

Scholarships may be awarded to students in these program that are graduating, continuing students beyond their first semester and first semester students. Each applicant must submit an essay that provides examples of how they have already demonstrated the Engineering & Industrial/Technical Studies Program motto of “Building a Better and More Sustainable World Through Engineering & Technology”. The essay must also outline how their future academic and career plans also show a commitment to this motto.
